Just wandered over to look at my blog stats and realized that has PERMANENTLY increased my traffic. I am disgusted/amused. Mainly amused at imagining the chagrin at getting to read stuff about women being human rather than getting to see pictures that are deliberately dehumanizing.
I apparently also have been getting a lot fo traffic over this whole transphobic flap. I certainly have gotten more than a few emails. Let me take the opportunity now to apologize for not answering so many of you – I really just didn’t know what to say.
But I think “horizontal violence” is the best term I’ve heard all week to describe the idiocy of transactivists and feminists fighting with each other. Hey, lets just do the job of the ones at the top for them, right?
I am contemplating posting my long story about how I’ve realized I’m a lesbian here from my personal blog. I’ll have to carefully consider it though, and probably edit it. If it came out who I am and who some of the people mentioned therein are, it could cause them trouble as they are living the lives of straight women now. I don’t want to cause them any more trouble than they already have.
